Faux Hand Painting
I’m back with another card for the Online card class – Watercolor for Cardmakers.
I have been totally inspired and simply blown away by both of Dawn Woleslagle’s watercolouring techniques shown on Day 7 and 8 of class. I hadn’t thought to do this technique, but since watching, I can’t stop. I’m addicted! I stamped the images in Distress ink and then I painted over the top with water. I had fun and I felt like a real painter!
Supplies
Stamps: Hero Arts Etched Floer Cling stamp, Hero Arts Messages with Flourish Stamp set
Card: Canson watercolour paper, Hero Arts layering papers – Punch
Ink: Distress Markers – Barn Door, Peeled Paint, Mowed Lawn, VersaFine Onyx Black ink
Other Supplies: Watercolour paint brushes, water
Thanks for stopping by,
Love it! I’m also taken with Dawn’s techniques and hope to play this weekend.
Stunning card, Marion. I am lagging quite behind with the classes – hope to catch up this weekend.
This is beautiful!
Beautiful card, Marion! I haven’t tried Dawn’s techniques yet, but I’m itching to!
Dawn is AmaZinG, and what a great teacher too! Your card is so beautiful, really makes me wish I could have taken the class.
