Hi there. I have a fun project up on the Jane’s Doodles blog today – cup cake toppers.  I used the adorable Garden Friends stamp set. I had a lot of fun making these little guys (and I will also say, the whole family had a lot of fun eating them too. Just for the record they were red velvet cupcakes :).

Hi there. Today I am very excited to be announcing that I am joining the Design Team at Jane’s Doodles. I have always been a big fan of Jane and her adorable stamps and I am honoured to be joining such a talented group of ladies.

Wise Owl

First up I created a colourful cluster of flowers, that were coloured with Copics and then given a coating of Wink of Stella brush glitter pen.

Next I made a fun bookmark for my son, once again colouring with Copics. The apple is coated in Glossy Accents.

And finally I water coloured the Wise Owl with Distress ink and made a tag. On the back it says “This book belongs to…” I couldn’t resist the googly eyes.

Welcome back to another week at the Muse Card Club.

This week’s card is a very CAS card with some simple Copic colouring.

Here are some of the guidelines if you are unfamiliar with how Muse works.

And just before I go, my family and I had the privilege of accompanying my husband to the USA on a business trip this past few weeks. We spent one week in Florida and the other in California. When in San Francisco we hired bikes and rode across the Golden Gate Bridge. I must admit I was unprepared for the cold weather in San Francisco!

And no trip would be complete without a visit to Disneyland. Here is my daughter finally getting to meet one of her favourite Disney characters.

It is hard to believe that Easter is fast approaching. This month at AnnaBelle Stamps the Belles have been showcasing the Easter Blessings stamp set.

Today I have made a simple tag for a bag of choccies, that will be given to my son’s teacher as an end of term gift (2 weeks to go!)

You can see the sparkly Wink of Stella brush pen around the border. I coloured the image with Copics.

I’m back with my last card for the online card class – Clean and Simple Card making 3.

I have created another one layer card, concentrating on adding texture with an embossing folder (and using a die as a diffuser) as shown by Julie Ebersole on Day 9. I also decided to give Dawn Woleslagle’s creative colouring technique a go as shown on Day 8. After stamping the floral image, I used a Copic O Blender pen to ‘watercolour’ the image. It is a really cool effect.

It has been so overcast here and has rained non-stop for 2 days. I’m about to build an ark I think!
