Muse #105 – God Bless You

muse_logo

Another month has rolled around and it is my turn to be the Muse at the Muse Card Club. I have had this die from Memory Box in my craft stash for well over a year and a half….and it has NEVER made it onto a card until now! Better late than never.

I sponged distress ink onto the small focal panel and to create the stars I spritzed the panel with some water from a mister bottle before dabbing it away with a dry cloth. It created just the right amount of stars for my scene.

Hope that you will be able to find some time this week to join in on the fun.

Clean and Simple 4 – Hi

CS4_participantWell the Online Card Class Clean & Simple 4 is almost over, and I have only managed to make one card for it! With the new school year just beginning here, there are so many things that have needed to take precedence!
I really loved the faux embossing technique that Yana showed on Day 4 – so I went with it. I have done a similar technique before, but not in the same colour as the card base – and I like the effect that it creates.

In honour of this huge celebration, we’re going to have special prizes – 5 lucky participants (you need to link up a card) in this week’s challenge will be selected at random to receive some blog candy! The names of these lucky winners will be included in the Voting Results post for this challenge, next Tuesday at noon.
Here is Michele’s card…

Muse 100
And here is mine. I am joining in on the festivities just for fun this week.

Love you | Marion Vagg

You are probably wondering where the theme ‘accentuate the negative’ is. Well when I got a little peeky at Michele’s card last week…I didn’t realise there was going to be a theme and I made my card based on her heart theme. And I am sure there is song out there somewhere called Love You…

Yesterday it was my turn over on the Jane’s Doodles blog. I had a lot of fun making this cute little bunny which is from the Spring stamp set. The background was also created using Jane’s new Stripes and Dots set. I added some Wink of Stella to the ears, tummy and bow for some sparkle.
