First up I stamped the daisy stamp onto some white card stock and coloured the image with Copics. I then fussy cut around the flowers before adhering it with foam dimensionals onto a yellow card base.

For my second card, I die cut some clouds from some masking paper. I then sponged on some Salty Ocean distress ink and moved the mask several times to create the cloud scene. The stork and baby were coloured with Copic markers and I then fussy cut around these before adhering them with foam dimensionals.

Sunshine – Sunny Studio

Hello. Today I have a Sunny Studio card to share with you that would brighten anyone’s day. Who doesn’t love a rainbow? This card was made using the Rain or Shine set along with the Sunny Sentiments set. And don’t you just love the Sunshine word die?

SS Sunshine | Marion Vagg

To create the sky I sponged on some Distress ink then spritzed it with a mini mister. I then mopped up the excess with a paper towel.

Sending a little love – Sunny Studio

I had some fun creating this card using the Sunny Studio Sending My Love stamp set. This set has lots of sweet critters, but I concentrated on the mailbox for this one.

Sunny Studio Sending a little love | Marion Vagg

I created some masks out of Inkadinkadoo masking paper for the clouds and the grass and then sponged on some distress ink (Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers and Mowed Lawn). All the images are from the Sending my Love set, except the Love word sentiment which is from the Furever Friends die set.

I wanted some texture on the card base (to add some interest to a rather CAS card), and the best I could find was some Tim Holtz Distress watercolour card stock.

Hello – Sunny Studio

Hello. I hope you are having a great day. I’m popping in to share two cards that are also over on the Sunny Studio blog. These cards use the Backyard Bugs stamp set – another fun and cute set to create with.

I’ll be honest with you here – this first card took me about 5 attempts! I had an idea and it took me a little longer than I had hoped to get there. But get there I did. I must be getting old!
To start with a partially die cut a circle (leaving the bottom of the circle uncut). Next, with some stamping and masking, I stamped my little scene. From there, I used my scissors and cut around the toadstool house to create the cut-a-way section. I blended in some ink on the base card with Salty Ocean distress ink and then popped the front panel up with some 3D mounting foam. Easy! (Hindsight is a wonderful thing!)

The next card is pretty much the same, except I stepped the process up and created a shaker card.

Which one do you prefer? We are divided in my house. My husband likes the first one better, but my daughter loves the shaker card!

Let’s Weather It Together – Sunny Studio

Today I have a Sunny Studio card to share with you that is also up on the Sunny Studio blog, showcasing the newly released Rain or Shine stamp set. I created the water coloured background with my Kuretake water colour paints (I just can’t stop using them). I added a couple of layers until I was happy with it. The images were coloured with Copic markers (which seems to be my go to medium at the moment).
