Jane's Doodle Banner

I had a post over on the Jane’s Doodle blog earlier this week and so I wanted to post it here as well. I used the Lily and the Birthday Wishes stamp sets.

I created a watercolour wash on teh background with my Kuretaki Gansai Tambi watercolour paints. Once dry, I white heat embossed the flowers and the sentiment. To add a little more detail, I used a white Prismacolor pencil and shaded the flowers.

Supplies

Stamps: Jane’s Doodles Lily and Birthday Wishes stamp sets

Card: X-Press It blending card

Ink: Versamark ink, Gansai Tambi watercolor paints

Other Supplies: Hero Arts white embossing powder, Anti-static pillow, Heat tool, Fun foam, Broad paintbrush, Prismacolor pencil – white, Derwent Blender pencil

Thanks for stopping by,

Marion

  1. I used my Gansai Tambis this week too, it seemed like it had been a while, don’t they look amazing in your background and to add the white to the centre of the flowers really helps them to pop. It’s another gorgeous design Marion!

  2. Beautiful card Marion – love the white on those bold background colours 🙂
