Sketch Flower card

There are several staff members that are leaving at my school and this is one of the farewell cards that I made. I decided not to write farewell, but rather personalise it with their name. This card is a simple one layer card using an old Fall-to-Layout sketch (#114). Last time I used this sketch I used butterflies. You can check that one out here.

I coloured the Hero Arts Sketch Flower stamp in with prismacolor pencils and then used Gamsol. If you haven’t worked out yet – I love this stuff!

Stamps: Hero Arts Woodblock Sketch Flower Stamp, Hero Arts Playful lowercase alphabet stamp
Ink: Versafine Ink – Onyx Black
Card: Regal Craft Card (white square single fold)
Other Supplies: Prismacolor pencils, gamsol, stubbs, Kaisercraft gems, felt pen, ruler

Thanks for stopping by,

  1. Love the simplicity of the single layer with the fab bright colours! I purchased my first Prisma pencils the other day… I think it’s time I tried them out.

    • Ohh very cool… doubt you will create some fabby things with your prismacolors! Looking forward to seeing some creations!!
