AnnaBelle Stamps sneak peek

AnnaBelle Stamps is releasing some new stamps next week, so fellow DT member Kylie and I have created some projects to whet your appetite before the release.

Two hearts

To create the banner, I stamped onto some patterned paper in my new Luxe Memento ink (which I got for Christmas from my FAB SIL), and then clear embossed over the top. I love the shine and texture this technique creates and it also intensifies the ink colour.

Supplies

Stamps: AnnaBelle Stamps Wedding Medallion Stamp Set (to be released next week), AnnaBelle Stamps BBD#9 Elegance Stamp set (to be released next week)

Ink: VersaFine – Smokey Gray, Luxe Memento Ink – Rose Bud

Card: AnnaBelle Stamps smooth white cardstock, Hero Arts notecards – Carnation

Other Supplies: Foam dimensionals, AnnaBelle Stamps clear embossing powder, heat tool, Creative Place – Make and Create 12×12 paper pad, Fiskars scallop edge punch, Rose ribbon (brand unknown), Glossy Accents (to adhere flower)

Be sure to check out Kylie’s blog for some more inspiration.

Until next time,

Marion

With love

I am currently on holidays and so have had some extra crafty time. This is a card I made last week for a challenge, but as usual, I deliberated way too long and missed the deadline. I spent about a week deciding whether to put some of the dots back inside the holes – randomly, in a pattern…oh the dilemma! It is quite laughable really, but in the end I opted for no dots!

I am trying the slanted look – very trendy at the moment, but for this symmetrical girl, it was (and is) a challenge!

With love

Friday Feature – Love Birds

Hello and welcome to Friday Feature at AnnaBelle Stamps. This week the Belles are showcasing the stamp set Love Birds. This stamp set will be 20% off this weekend until Sunday midnight (AEST).

For my first card, I masked off the heart in the middle and then distressed around it using Worn Lipstick. I then stamped the different sized hearts from the set over the distressing. I am currently taking the Online Card Class – Clean and Simple Card Class 2 and was inspired by Amber’s beautiful tree card on Day 1. I took her idea and ‘reversed’ it.

Clean and Simple

Hi everyone,
Just popping in quickly with some cards that I made today following one of the sketches from the Clean and Simple Card Making class run by Jennifer McGuire, Kristina Werner and Julie Ebersole. My heart skipped a beat when I saw this sketch.

I love clean and simple cards and I love how both of these turned out. To create the red background I swished some Fired Brick distress ink over some textured card stock, leaving some white gaps. I like the distressed look. I am entering this card into the current CAS-ual Fridays CFC#34 Challenge – Chip off the Ol’ Block. I have used Thickers chipboard glossy letters.

My second card I am entering into the current Wee Memories Challenge #82 – Mini. My card is a small 4×4 card. Simple, but cute don’t you think?

{I love you}

Stamps: none
Ink: Ranger Distress Ink – Fired Brick
Card: Regal Craft Card – white textured, white card
Other Supplies: American Crafts Thickers – Chipboard stickers, foam dimensionals, Glossy Accents (to adhere Thickers)
