Welcome Sweet Baby

Posted by on November 4, 2010 in Animals, Baby, Digistamp, Gamsol, Prismacolor pencils | 3 comments

Hi,

Just sharing another little baby card that I made a couple of weeks ago using the sitting giraffe digistamp from Squigglefly. Once again I used prismacolor pencils and gamsol. The sentiment was computer generated.

You can see the glossy accents a bit better in this photo on the bow.

Supplies:

Stamps: Digistamp ‘Sitting Giraffe’ from squigglefly
Ink: Printer
Card: Regal Craft Card (white square single fold), White cardstock, purple Bazzill, purple embossed card (not sure which brand)
Other Supplies: Prismacolor pencils, gamsol, stubbs, Glossy accents (on bow), White Kaisercraft flowers, S.E.I. buttons, thin white ribbon, herma dotto, foam dimensionals, Kaisercraft pearls, Computer font “CAC Pinafore”.

Hope you are having a great day! Very wet here!

Until next time,

Marion

  1. Hi Marion, “googled” and found your blog. Love your work, absolutely stunning! Can you tell me where you get your Gamsol from? Also the Prismacolor pencils? Many thanks

    • Hi Selena,
Glad to hear you like my cards…it is certainly a fun pastime! I originally got my gamsol from an online shop called Scrapbook Boutique (www.scrapbookboutique.com.au). I just had a look though and they don’t seem to have it now – maybe you could email them and ask if they still stock it. This online store also sells Prismacolor pencils, though they aren’t cheap, but they are really lovely pencils and well worth the investment. I actually picked up my set of 48 from Ebay for a really cheap price as someone was having a craft room clean out.
      Hope this helps you.
      Marion

  2. Such a darling little baby card! I love how you accent the sentiment with the pearls.
