I’m popping in just before the deadline for this month’s Papertrey Ink Blog Hop – Pretty in Pink.

I layered strips of patterned paper onto some white card stock and then to create a softer look, I sewed a piece of vellum over the top. The sentiment is white heat embossed on top of the vellum.

AnnaBelle Stamps is releasing some new stamps next week, so fellow DT member Kylie and I have created some projects to whet your appetite before the release.

To create the banner, I stamped onto some patterned paper in my new Luxe Memento ink (which I got for Christmas from my FAB SIL), and then clear embossed over the top. I love the shine and texture this technique creates and it also intensifies the ink colour.

I know I’m a little late, but I’m in summer holiday mode at the moment so everything goes at a slower pace right? This was my Christmas card for this year (well last year now). I wanted it to be simple enough to reproduce quickly.

This week the Belles are showcasing the Jewelled Christmas Stamp set at AnnaBelle Stamps.

I had some fun trying a new technique this week – creating a marbled background with Adirondack alcohol inks onto glossy card stock. I decided to keep my project small as it was a bit of an experiment – so hence another tag 🙂 I wasn’t sure if I could heat emboss over the top, but it worked a treat. I added some clear sprinkles to add some shine. The tag is nice and glossy in real life.

Hello…remember me? Long time no blog. We have moved and are still in the process of unpacking – but we are loving our new home.

Today it is my turn at the Muse Card Club.

Today’s card incorporates the chalkboard technique – to see a video tutorial on how I did on this, go here. I really love how this card turned out and have already given it to a friend. However you don’t have to do this technique at all, you may be inspired in a completely different way. See where your creativity takes you.

Hello. It’s time for another month long challenge at AnnaBelle Stamps…. and it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Can you believe it?

I certainly can’t even get into Christmas mode as this week my family and I are moving, so I am up to my eyeballs in boxes and packing and to top it off I have a cold too! I will actually be taking a bit of a blogging break while we move – so things will be a little quiet here for a while. But the good news is that I hope to get a crafty space in our new house and not in the corner of our dining room!

Not your traditional Christmas colours, but I had fun experimenting. I white heat embossed the wreath onto  blue card stock, then water coloured the leaves with Distress markers and a watercolour brush.
